Full-Copper and Hybrid (Copper and PEX) Repipe Systems
Our clients can choose either a full-copper repipe or a hybrid repipe. Copper is the more traditional option when it comes to pipe rerouting and replacement. Copper piping is highly durable and has been proven to last 50 years or longer. Hybrid systems feature both copper and PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) piping, and have recently become the more popular option of the two. That's because hybrid systems are less expensive than copper (typically our clients save between $1,000 and $2,000 by choosing a hybrid system over an all-copper system) and take advantage of the pros of each material while limiting the cons. Hybrid systems are Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) approved and great for both residential and commercial applications.
